PINEDALE / SHERWOOD FOREST

Welcome to the most affordable areas in South Burlington! Pinedale-Sherwood Forest is a family friendly community made up of single-family detached homes, townhouses and high-rise condominiums. Properties value varies in prices and can definitely fit many different budgets. Whether you’re looking for your first starter home, or looking to settle in a more mature community, Pinedale –Sherwood Forest community has plenty of affordable options and variety of home styles that suit your need.

Pinedale community is predominantly comprised of single family detached homes that were built in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. The styles of these homes vary and include: bungalows, 3 level side-splits, 4 level side-splits, raised ranches, & back-splits. In addition to the detached properties, the community offers a mixture of semidetached homes, townhomes and condominium apartment buildings (on Pinedale). This area is popular for its maturity, larger lots, reasonable pricing, proximity to Toronto, and access to the Appleby GO Station

Sherwood Forest neighbourhood is located at the easternmost part (closest to Burloak) is newer with construction starting in the 1990’s and ending in 2000. It offers a mixture of 2-Storey Detached, Semi-Detached, Link and Freehold Townhomes and it appeals to people who want a newer build but prefer to live south of the QEW.

Another big advantage to this central Burlington neighbourhood is the many amenities that are within walking distance. Besides the Appleby Plaza, there are several other plazas located on all sides of this area with coffee shops, parks, restaurants, banks, convenience stores and other retailers.

Our neighborhood is proudly pet friendly community, and provides many services to make sure your furry family members are having a blast in their new home. You’ll find many grooming salons, pet sitting shops, animal clinics & hospital as well as at least 2 leash free dog parks close by, where many days you will find groups of proud pet owners, happily watching their dogs enjoy some playtime with their own kind.

On the other side of Burloak, on the south side of the QEW, you’ll find the RioCan Burloak Centre, which offers numerous fantastic options for outlet shopping, along with great sit-down restaurants, Home Depot and SilverCity.
